These terms govern your use of TextDiffHub, available at textdiffhub.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The Service

TextDiffHub provides a free, browser-based text diff checker. You paste two texts; the tool computes and displays their differences using the Myers shortest-edit-script algorithm at line, word or character granularity. All processing occurs locally in your browser.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the operation of the site or its hosting infrastructure;
• scrape, republish or resell the site's content, articles or design without permission;
• use automated means to access the service in a way that imposes unreasonable load.

Your Content

The texts you paste remain yours. We claim no ownership over them and — because processing is entirely client-side — we never receive them in the first place. See the privacy policy for details.

Intellectual Property

The TextDiffHub name, logo, design, articles and source code are protected by intellectual property laws and remain our property or that of our licensors. The Myers diff algorithm itself is public knowledge; this implementation is ours.

No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the diff output is error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet your requirements. Always verify critical comparisons — merges, releases, audits — with your own tooling before acting on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextDiffHub and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Advertising

The site may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the products and services they promote.

Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
