There is nothing to sign up for at TextDiffHub. It is a text diff checker, it does one thing — compares two texts at line, word or character level with inline highlights and context folding — and it gives you the answer without first asking who you are.
Why this site exists
Plenty of developer pages already exist. Most of them make you dismiss a banner, ignore a modal and scroll past filler before the tool appears. TextDiffHub inverts that: the tool is the page, it compares two texts at line, word or character level with inline highlights and context folding, and everything else is explanation you can read or skip.
How the result is produced
No server is involved in the arithmetic. It runs the Myers difference algorithm to find the shortest edit script between the two inputs, then groups the changes so a moved block reads as one edit instead of a wall of noise. We state the method openly because a tool that cannot explain its own answer is not much use to anyone trying to trust it.
Your data stays here
Privacy here is a property of the design, not a promise: both texts you paste never leaves your browser, because the calculation runs there. There is no server to receive it, no store to hold it, and no third party with access to it.

Keeping it free
There is no charge to use TextDiffHub. The costs are covered by advertising, which stays out of the way of the tool itself and has no access to your input. If an advert ever interferes with the page, tell us and we will look at it.
